Early Christians took over pagan customs and prepared Christian songs. In 129 the song „Angel’s Hymn” was known and sung during Christmas celebrations in Rome. Another Christmas song was created in 760 by Comas from Jerusalem. Then many composers in Europe started writting carols. But the most of holiday carols was sung in Latin and that’s why a lots of people had lost interest those things.
